At our clinic we provide you with a wide range of cosmetic medicine treatments, using specific techniques such as mesotherapy. Intradermal therapy or mesotherapy is a medical procedure that consists of performing superficial microinjections in the dermis to deliver active ingredients such as vitamins, amino acids, peptides, coenzymes, trace elements and mineral salts, with the aim of correcting multiple cosmetic imperfections.
Medical-cosmetic mesotherapy can be differentiated into three major types according to their area of application:
- Facial: it treats ageing signs such as forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, glabellar lines, marionette lines, barcode wrinkles, nasolabial and mentolabial folds, etc.
- Body: applicable to the thighs, buttocks, knees, back, sides, neck, cleavage, belly, back of hands and arms.
- Hair: it treats hair loss and decreased hair volume and density.
Mesotherapy stimulates recovery and the good functioning of various parts of our body. An adequate selection of active ingredients, as well as a good knowledge of injection techniques, are essential to its effectiveness, and they must be adapted to each patient and each aesthetic concern.
This procedure is characterised by its good results and long-lasting effects, as well as the low risk of side effects when advised and applied by qualified medical professionals.

FAQs
What products are applied with mesotherapy?
A multitude of active ingredients that will serve as nutrients and precursors for cell metabolism can be injected, such as non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, vitamins, antioxidants, coenzymes, DNA precursors such as nucleic acids, amino acids, etc.
Will it leave marks on me? When will they disappear?
Redness may occur at injection sites and, less often, light bruising that will disappear in a short time may also occur.
Will I need anaesthesia?
It depends on the sensitivity of each patient, but topical local anaesthesia may be applied half an hour before treatment.
Can anyone undergo a mesotherapy session?
Although mesotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment, there are people for whom it is contraindicated. For example, women who are pregnant or even breastfeeding, those who have an allergy to the active ingredients used or if the patient has certain illnesses or skin problems. Therefore, it is recommended to talk to the doctor before the procedure is performed.
How many days are there between mesotherapy sessions?
Facial mesotherapy sessions can be performed every 15 days; body mesotherapy once a week and hair mesotherapy once a month.
When do the effects of mesotherapy start to be noticed?
The effects of facial mesotherapy begin to be noticed after 4-5 days following treatment. The maximum effects can be seen after 3-4 sessions.
To see the results of body mesotherapy, it may be necessary to have between 5 and 10 sessions and, therefore, several weeks to assess a final result.
