Male fertility study

Why do it

The male fertility test allows you to have a first fertility diagnosis and to rule out if there is any problem at the moment you wish to become a father or, if you are already looking for a pregnancy, and your partner is unable to get pregnant.

Infertility affects 15% of couples and 60% of fertility problems have a male cause.

More common than you think

Fertility disorders affect 15% of couples wanting to have children.

What does it involve?

  • First visit with an andrologist specialising in fertility to assess your medical history, family history, habits and lifestyle.
  • Complete physical examination of the reproductive system.
  • Complete semen analysis to measure the concentration, quantity and mobility of the sperm.
  • Diagnostic and results with the andrologist.

Additional tests: the doctor may consider it necessary to carry out other tests, such as a second semen analysis, or a chromosomal or genetic study.
