On 26 January 2025, a team of gynaecologists from Dexeus will once again set off on a humanitarian mission to Cameroon to provide medical care to the population and train local surgeons. Their goal is to perform at least 50 surgeries for the most common gynaecological conditions affecting African women.
The project is led by Elisa Beltrame, in collaboration with the Dexeus Mujer Foundation and the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation. Our team includes Dr Pere Barri Soldevila, Dr Alberto Rodríguez Melcón and Dr Núria Barbany, as well as three fourth-year gynaecology residents: Dr Berta Cortés, Dr Eugenia Morillo and Dr Clara Platón.
Our medical team will be volunteering their time, but they need to raise funds to cover their travel expenses and the cost of transporting all the medical equipment and supplies. We have therefore launched a crowdfunding campaign on migranodearena.org.
Will you help us make a difference?
